The New Hong Kong Philharmonia’s Baroque Chamber Orchestra will be joined by Italian violinist Domenico Nordio for an era-spanning performance of Baroque masterpieces for one night only on Tuesday. From Vivaldi’s fiery virtuosity to Bach’s intricate harmonies, Nordio is set to draw attendees into another world with the violin’s expressive depth and timeless appeal.

Famous all over China for wild mushrooms, Yunnan province’s autumn bounty headlines Man Ho’s latest seasonal menu. In collaboration with veteran chefs Chan Siu-kei and Ricky Cheung, executive chef Jayson Tang has created a number of à la carte dishes, also available as a six-course tasting menu, highlighting fungi diversity. Not to be missed is the Mushroom Consommé Symphony (HK$328 per person), which highlights three single-mushroom soups presented in both hot and jellied forms.
