Ukraine’s Zelensky accuses Russia of trying to ‘deceive America’ before Trump-Putin talks
The Ukrainian president, who has not been invited to the Alaska meeting, says he will not allow any territorial concessions in a peace deal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of attempting to mislead Washington, a few days before a planned meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
On Monday, he warned against capitulating to the Russian leader.
“Russia refuses to stop the killings, and therefore must not receive any rewards or benefits. And this is not just a moral position – it is a rational one. Concessions do not persuade a killer,” he said in a statement published on social media.
The US and Russian presidents are set to meet on Friday in Alaska to discuss a possible solution to the Ukraine war after more than three years of conflict. Zelensky was not invited.
