Ukraine plans to expand drone production with allies for post-war period, Zelensky says
Cooperation would take place with all countries that can help with investments, individual parts and production facilities, Zelensky said
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday plans to expand drone production with allies for the post-war period as well.
“We are working with partners to ensure that production in their countries operates at full capacity as well – both for our shared defence today and for partners’ arsenals after the war,” Zelensky said in his evening statement.
The cooperation would take place with all countries that can help with investments, individual parts and production facilities, he said.
“Step by step, we are closing the funding gap for the production of drones and interceptor drones,” he added.
Due to the increasing number of Russian drone attacks on targets deep inside Ukrainian territory Kyiv is urging the supporting states to provide new military aid.
