Paraglider rescued from Hong Kong mountain after landing unconscious
Fire Services Department and police received call after 12.30pm, victim was airlifted by helicopter from Ma On Shan to hospital for treatment

Hong Kong firefighters have rescued a paraglider from Hong Kong’s Ma On Shan mountain after he landed unconscious in the area, with a helicopter taking him to hospital.
Police said they received a report at about 1.05pm on Tuesday that a male paraglider had landed on Ngong Ping Plateau on Ma On Shan.
The man was initially unconscious but woke up afterwards, they added.
The extent of his injuries, as well as his identity and age, are currently unknown.
The Fire Services Department said it received a request for a mountain rescue at 12.36pm.
A government helicopter airlifted the man to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan for treatment.
