The updated app is easy to use and full of useful information.

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) today released the newest version of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) App.

The app is designed to provide information about the HKDSE to exam candidates and members of the public.

The app’s homepage links to pages such as “My Exam Schedule”, “Important Dates & Events”, and an “Exam Calendar”, as well as “Useful Contacts”.

HKDSE candidates can personalise their exam information in the “My Exam Schedule” section.

Once they enter their candidate number, birthday and email address, they can log in and check the details of each exam that they’re sitting, such as the date, the papers and subjects they’re registered for, and the exam venues.

The “Exam Centres” section allows candidates to insert an exam venue code in the search bar, and the app will then bring up a map showing the venue’s location on a map.

Candidates can also see an overview of their exam dates in the calendar, with a blue dot marking each exam date.

While the app should prove very useful to candidates, it is important to remember that the information is for reference only. Candidates must still bring along their ID card and the original copy of their admission forms when they take the exams. Screenshots of the app will not be accepted.

The HKDSE App was first launched in 2012. The most recent update includes a brand new design with a more user-friendly interface, according to the HKEAA.

It’s available now on both the App Store and Google Play.
