7 restaurants in Kowloon’s Elements and Olympian malls for when you shop till you drop
- From breakfast to cocktails, restaurants like Ozone, Tango Argentinian Steak House, Obihiro Hageten and Lemongrass among others serve shoppers a wide variety of meals, snacks and drinks
In many newer development areas, dining options are often centred on malls, as is the case with West Kowloon. Both Elements and Olympian City feature well established favourites that keep you coming back for more.
1. Ozone
Connected to Elements is the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, and on the 118th floor, is Ozone. This bar and lounge is the setting for a Sunday champagne brunch, with staggering views, opulent offerings, great service and free-flow vintage Dom Perignon. It is, in fact, hard to think of a better place for a lazy Sunday afternoon. It is the quality, more than the quantity, that stands out – from the ingredients and produce to the execution. French oysters, exquisite prawns, sweet crab, cured salmon, grilled Boston lobster, intriguing eggs Benedict served on a waffle topped with truffle paste sauce with melt-on-the-tongue Iberico, and pasta with a ragu so rich it seduces are just some of the highlights. There is also caviar, sushi, lamb rack, home-made sausages, cheese, salads, and desserts.

2. Tango Argentinian Steak House
This is the place to go for Argentinian beef grilled to perfection. There is also a selection of seafood and pasta dishes. For an indulgent meal opt for a sharing menu, a four-course option with house-cured meats and cheese, plus grilled chorizo and morcilla with traditional sauces, and empanadas to start, followed by 14oz air dried Argentinian rib-eye, potato gnocchi with black truffle cream, slow roast chicken, a selection of sides, plus desserts! Also popular is the selection of ceviche, the gaucho platter for two with three cuts of beef, the grilled prawns and the seafood fettuccine. It’s also a preferred after-work drink and snack spot, with an interesting selection of tapas, including beef sliders and truffle fries, plus empanadas, and ceviche.
