5 new lifestyle finds that capture the wonder of nature: jewellery by De Beers and Elhanati, silver placeholders from Buccellati, Diptyque aromatic candles and Korean brand Nonfiction’s perfumes
- De Beers pays homage to Botswana’s Okavango Delta where the lotus flower grows in abundance while Elhanati turned to Argentinian artist Conie Vallese for organic shapes with a Gothic touch
- Nonfiction’s Citrus fragrances – Open Arms, Neroli Dream and Simple Garden – are fresh and zesty, while Diptyque’s La Forêt Rêve candle carries the scent of tuberose, ylang-ylang and vanilla
Nature is an endless source of inspiration for all creatives, and for designers working in jewellery, homewares and even fragrances that’s no exception, as this selection of recent releases attests …
1. Elhanati jewellery
Danish fine jeweller Elhanati has unveiled a new collection designed in collaboration with renowned Argentinian sculptor and artist Conie Vallese. Crafted by hand in Elhanati’s Copenhagen atelier, each piece celebrates the beauty of organic shapes, entwined in the dark allure of Victorian aesthetics and with nostalgic echoes of the 90s.
The limited-edition range consists of three pairs of earrings, four rings, seven necklaces and pendants, one bracelet, one hairpin and one brooch, all made in sterling silver with black diamonds and spinels.
2. Nonfiction fragrances
South Korean fragrance and body care brand Nonfiction is the antidote to the often gimmicky products associated with K-beauty. From its elegant packaging to its beautiful scents, which are never overpowering or too sweet, Nonfiction is a hidden gem.
The three fragrances in its recently launched Citrus collection – Open Arms, Neroli Dream and Simple Garden – are fresh and zesty, reminding us of endless summer days even as temperatures start to drop.
