  • An LA girl at heart, Markle is loyal to establishments like La Scala and Lucky’s Steakhouse, where she and Harry made their first Montecito public outing, alongside Katherine McPhee and David Foster
  • The royal couple has gone on double dates with their A-list friends like Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk, and Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, at Sushi by Scratch, formerly known as Sushi Bar Montecito

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry quietly moved to California in March 2020 during the start of the pandemic, little did we know the controversial royal couple would make Tinseltown their “forever home”.

And while they largely keep a low profile, the pair are often spotted grabbing a bite to eat at some of their favourite restaurants in Los Angeles and beyond. Because no matter how famous you are, you still get cravings for your favourite dishes.

Located in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles near the famous farmers’ market, Terroni serves up delicious southern Italian fare. Opened in February 2020, this little spot became a vital neighbourhood grocery, serving prepared meals to its loyal customers when restaurants were forced to close during the pandemic.

Meghan has been a long-time customer of the brand and its food, going as far back as her pre-royal Suits days when she became a regular at Terroni’s Toronto location. In an interview with Vanity Fair, she gushed about its famous spicy condiment peperoncini piccanti (red chillies in oil), saying, “They’re really hot, but if you’re good with heat, then I think they’re going to be your new favourite thing.”
