Marc Newson – himself the subject of many coffee table books highlighting his work as one of the most important industrial designers living today – has now teamed up with German luxury publisher Taschen for this very special object.

The publisher is known for lavishly illustrated books that are often as visually stunning as the photos printed in them. This tripod bookstand, designed in partnership with Newson and made of acrylic glass, aluminium and steel, is the perfect way to display one of the company’s prized and extravagant Collector’s Editions.

Italian jeweller Panconesi makes its debut in the world of interior design with Conversation Piece, a collection of jewellery-inspired design objects. Recalling a totem pole, the Ascolto Candelabra is made with a stack of gemstones ranging from aventurine to obsidian. Cylindrical metal vases are embellished with gem-set stems, while in the striking Ascolto Clock, gemstones such as carnelian and malachite are used as hour markers.
