Lowe, and Benji and Joel Madden all agreed they have a ‘healthy fear’ of their wives Sheryl Berkoff, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie, on the actor’s SiriusXM show last month

On a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Literally! with Rob Lowe, the 9-1-1: Lone Star actor agreed with his guests’ sentiment that it’s good to have a “healthy fear” of your wife, adding that he too is married to a “strong woman”.

The radio guests in question? Benji and Joel Madden – meaning the women they were discussing were Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, and Lowe’s wife Sheryl Berkoff.

“When you think about the powerful women that are just these forces of nature – I think all of our wives are interesting in the fact that they also don’t want to be with a pushover guy,” Benji Madden noted.

“We all respect our wives. They are absolutely our counterparts, and we all have a healthy fear of our wives. In the best way,” Joel chipped in. Lowe agreed, adding, “All three of us are married to strong women.”
