The 42-year old has been MIA for over a week, but TMZ has since reported that she is not in any ill health. Although she has yet to address the concerns over her disappearance, she did share an unrelated post on Instagram over the weekend promoting her collaboration with the band Rascal Flatts.
One source told Entertainment Tonight that the “Since U Been Gone” songstress has been away due to a “sudden family emergency”. TMZ notes that she is “completely fine” and dealing with a matter that “does not directly involve her”.
Netizens first noticed things were amiss when The Kelly Clarkson Show guest Simu Liu suddenly became the programme’s host after Clarkson left just minutes before cameras started rolling. “Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best,” he told the audience on March 3. “I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie Last Breath.”
Clarkson, 42, then returned to the show for a couple of days before disappearing again. So far, guest hosts including Roy Wood Jr, Wanda Sykes, Josh Groban, Brooke Shields, Willie Geist and Molly Sims have all filled her shoes in the meantime.
