Hollywood’s hottest rising star, Harris Dickinson, 28, who appeared alongside Nicole Kidman in 2024 release Babygirl and who starred in Steve McQueen’s World War II drama Blitz, with Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, broke hearts all over the world when his relationship status was revealed.
His real-life babygirl is British singer-songwriter Rose Gray, who was recently named the winner of the MTV Push UK and Ireland 2025 prize, which recognises rising artists; previous winners include Lewis Capaldi and Anne-Marie. For Valentine’s Day, Gray shared a carousel of photos labelled “love dump”, including one in which she was seen embracing Where the Crawdads Sing star Dickinson by the sea.

In January, Gray released her debut album Louder, Please and gushed about it in an interview with Vogue. She described the album as being inspired by “lots of parties, lots of tears, a bit of heartbreak, a bit of heart-fixing” before adding that some of the songs “sound a bit like falling back in love”.

So who is Rose Gray? Here’s everything to know about the woman who has Harris Dickinson’s heart.

Gray, 28, was born in her parents’ Muswell Hill flat in London, she told culture magazine The Face. When she was six months old, her family moved to East London and settled down in Walthamstow – where Dickinson also grew up. Her parents are actors and she grew up dreaming of an acting career, but was quickly warned against it by them, she told Atwood Magazine. So she turned to music.

“I’d always sung and my family are creative, so I just thought that I would become a singer,” she revealed to The Face. Per Vogue, Gray attended a performing arts secondary school and received formal training in classical vocals. She also sang in the school choir.

Her career has had its ups – and downs
