The newly appointed senior adviser to the White House Faith Office became a Christian in the 1980s, then claimed she’d had a vision from God – but many take issue with her ‘prosperity theology’

Days after being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump created the White House Faith Office and instructed Attorney General Pam Bondi to combat anti-Christian government bias through a special task force. On February 7, he appointed pastor Paula White-Cain a special government employee and senior adviser to the Faith Office, according to the White House website. White-Cain previously worked as a Trump consultant under the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative.
