While she hasn’t followed her ‘Baby Jane’ singing star father into the music business, Renee incorporates dance and movement into classes at her international yoga retreats

Rod Stewart is dispelling all rumours of trouble in paradise when it comes to his marriage to Penny Lancaster. The couple wed in 2007 and have two children together, 19-year-old Alastair and 13-year-old Aiden. However, a Daily Mail report has had fans thinking that husband and wife have reached a “stalemate” in their relationship, owing to his love for La La Land and her longing for the British countryside, which she calls home.

The legendary musician wasted no time in clearing the air via an Instagram post, asserting that he “could not be more in love” with his wife and that there was “no disharmony” in their marriage. Lancaster also seems to get along well with her six stepchildren, with whom she reunited at Liam Stewart’s wedding last year in Croatia. Ice hockey player Liam is Rod Stewart’s second child with ex-wife Rachel Hunter and his sixth overall. The family also came together for a Mediterranean holiday.

While some of the “Forever Young” crooner’s children remain out of the spotlight, his fifth child, Renee Stewart, whom he also shares with Hunter, is building her own following in a different field.

Renee Stewart was born in 1992 in London and raised in Los Angeles, as her website reveals. Her mother, model and actress Rachel Hunter, hails from New Zealand. Renee continues to visit a family home in New Zealand, according to her Instagram Highlights and appears close to her maternal grandmother.

Renee Stewart definitely inherited her famous father’s artistic genes, but channels them differently. After graduating from The London Contemporary Dance School, she worked as a professional dancer in fashion and film. Some big names on her CV include Escada, Stella McCartney and Tommy Hilfiger. She undertook her yoga-teacher training in India, then launched her own classes, incorporating dance, yoga, meditation, movement and breath work. As her website also states, she now offers yoga retreats, online classes, private sessions and group classes. Renee’s mother Rachel also hosts yoga, meditation and spiritual retreats.
