7 things to know about Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes ‘Lola’ Leon: she dated actor Timothée Chalamet, modeled for NYFW and Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, and even bagged a Vogue cover
- She dated Hollywood heartthrob Chalamet while attending LaGuardia High School in Manhattan, and started her Material Girl make-up line at just age 14, sold at Macy’s

Lourdes “Lola” Leon is Madonna’s first born and only child from her relationship with fitness trainer Carlos Leon. Following her birth in 1996, she was largely kept out of the spotlight while she completed her studies – but that all changed last year.

During a recent interview with Interview magazine, Leon revealed she paid for her own university tuition fees and flat while growing up, using earnings from the Material Girl clothing line she founded with her mum in 2010.
“We don’t get any handouts in my family,” Leon said. “Obviously, I grew up with extreme privilege. There’s no denying that. But I think my mum saw all these other kids of famous people, and she was like, ‘My kids are not going to be like this.’”
