Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have three children, Eric and Lara Trump have two, and Donald Jr. and Vanessa Trump have five – making 15-year-old Barron an uncle of 10. But what’s his relationship like with his nephews and nieces?
Troublesome uncle Barron
In June 2017, Ivanka spoke about how Barron’s move to the White House – which finally happened after he completed his school year – made the transition much easier for her own children. “Now with Barron here they have so much fun together,” Ivanka revealed to Fox & Friends, adding that she heard “their laughter chasing after Barron”.
But she also admitted that Barron being pals with the older kids sometimes meant naughty shenanigans. Ivanka shared that her then three-year-old son Joseph would cry that, “Barron and Arabella [Ivanka’s eldest] don’t wait for him”. She continued: “They’ll send him on random chases and distract him and send him off in different directions. They traumatise Joseph a little bit.”
Protective uncle Barron
But Barron was also seen walking hand in hand with Joseph across the South Lawn of the White House in August 2017, as photographers marked the family trip to presidential property Camp David. Despite only being 11 years old at the time, Melania’s son looked very responsible and protective indeed.
