Whether you get the occasional hormonal breakout or have an acne-prone skin type and are considering treatments like Accutane, knowing you’re not alone is a relief. Stars like Chris Pine, Keke Palmer, Lucy Hale, Pete Davidson and more have openly shared their struggles with pimples. Their honesty sends a powerful message: acne is a normal part of life and nothing to be ashamed of.

Pine described the period as traumatic, sharing that auditions with bad skin were some of the most challenging moments of his life, leaving him with “a little bit of PTSD”.

On Instagram, Palmer revealed that “my acne has been so bad that people in my field offered to pay for me to get it fixed. I tried everything. I did Accutane twice.” She reassured others dealing with similar issues, stating, “To all the people struggling with this please know you’re not alone and that you are still so f***ing fine!”
