A Chanel ambassador since 2018, Robbie succeeds the likes of Nicole Kidman, Catherine Deneuve and Marion Cotillard as the face of the iconic fragrance
A missed opportunity, a love lost, and the realisation of the power of the self inspires Chanel N°5’s latest campaign featuring actress Margot Robbie, the new face of the fragrance. The multitalented actress stars in See You at 5, a two-minute, 20-second short film inspired by the passion, defiance and ambition of the brand’s founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel.
Robbie stars alongside Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi under the direction of Oscar-winning filmmaker Luca Guadagnino of Call Me by Your Name and Challengers fame. The short film takes a peek into a missed rendezvous between the two actors, with Robbie’s character turning a fleeting moment for romance into a journey of self-love and freedom.

This freedom to champion your own destiny is at the core of Chanel’s most iconic fragrance. Chanel N°5 was born out of Coco Chanel’s desire to create “a woman’s perfume with a woman’s scent” in 1921. The fragrance stands boldly apart in myriad ways – from its blend of floral and vibrant citrus notes derived from the extraordinary May Rose and jasmine found in the perfumery capital of Grasse, France, to its distinctive geometric carafe and its numeric name.

Timelessness is of the essence when it comes to the legendary fragrance, which encapsulates femininity. The fragrance is at once radically abstract and defiantly simple, capturing the captivating mysticism of femininity in a singular scent.
Robbie shares Chanel’s spirit for carving out a niche and creating a space for female empowerment: the actress has stepped beyond on-screen roles and is now forging a wider path in the industry as a producer.
She creates powerful roles that tackle themes of empowerment and achievement from an unapologetically female perspective. Her role as a producer has allowed her to create new spaces for women in the industry.
