New premises and a fresh menu have made Hansik Goo one of the most sought-after bookings in town. Mingoo Kang, the chef behind Seoul’s two-Michelin-starred Mingles, brings his contemporary cuisine to Hong Kong with an eight-course tasting/sharing menu presenting Korean flavours in a new light.

Old favourites such as Korean fried chicken and samgye risotto – a new take on traditional ginseng chicken – are still on the menu. New dishes such as fish mandu and Hanwoo duo are an absolute delight. Prepared to be surprised by desserts such as makgeolli ice cream with black garlic meringue. For something different, try pairing dishes with Korean wines and soju.
