From retro time-travel to rooftop glamour, Hong Kong’s New Year’s Eve parties will offer a spectacular send-off for 2025 even without the promise of fireworks at midnight.
Soak in the harbour views while clinking glasses at several of the city’s highest bars and restaurants, or embrace nostalgic flair at a Kowloon hotel’s nostalgic “Back to the Future” celebration.
A brand new harbour-facing hotel will transform its rooftop bar into a neon-lit Hollywood-themed bash, while a Kai Tak newcomer promises high-energy beats and incredible value with its free-flow package.
Whether you seek refined Japanese dining, live jazz or panoramic countdown energy, there is a place to suit your style this December 31.
1. Swim Club

Ring in 2026 with retro glamour at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui hotel’s New Year’s Eve Hollywood Sock Hop (HK$1,288 per guest).
This vibrant rooftop party transforms the night into a scene of neon-lit nostalgia, featuring roller-skating performers, rockabilly DJ beats and breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour.
Guests can enjoy bites like tacos and sliders, a s’mores and ice cream station, and a celebratory midnight champagne toast.

2. Zuma

Welcome 2026 at Zuma with a night of jazz and Japanese-themed revelry.
On offer is a refined tasting menu dinner (HK$1,680), or the premier Yashoku Night Brunch (HK$1,980 per person) – a two-and-a-half-hour feast with free-flow Ruinart champagne.
Both include access to the countdown event (regular price HK$1,080 per person), which unfolds from 10pm in a jazz-club atmosphere with live music, performances and complimentary food stations. Toast with free-flow drinks as the energy builds up to a dazzling midnight celebration.
