Dervla Louli Musgrave is the founder of Compare Retreats, a travel portal and magazine. She spoke to Andrew Sun.

I am Egyptian and Irish. I also grew up in Saudi Arabia, which shaped my love of quality produce prepared with lots of flavour. Dairy and animal products are incredible in Ireland – I am obsessed with Kerrygold butter. I eat everything and like to focus on local specialities whenever I travel.

At home, eating well is very important for my family. Our meals are light and healthy, with a focus on clean protein, veg and healthy carbohydrates. Katia at OmniVitality is my go-to nutritionist.

I do not eat breakfast, but like to get a strong coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee (various locations, including G/F & 1/F, 38 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central. Tel: 9850 3107) on my way to the gym in the morning.

For lunch, you can find me at Salisterra (49/F, The Upper House, Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty. Tel: 3968 1106) for the salmon miso salad by Family Form. We also celebrate a lot of special occasions at the hotel, whether in the Andre Fu suite, on the lawn or in Salisterra. We had our Hong Kong wedding there, our daughter’s first birthday and I have hosted multiple work events in the Sky Lounge. Whatever the occasion, they always nail it.

For more formal lunches, it is usually Zuma (Shop 501-503 & 601-603, Landmark Atrium, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Central. Tel: 3657 6388) for the sesame spinach, sashimi and spicy beef.
