Favourite Hong Kong restaurants of yoga instructor and community curator at Pure Yoga, Will Tan
Tan enjoys trying out new flavours and healthy dishes, with fresh Vietnamese paper rolls, Caesar salad and truffle fries, chicken bao, green curry vegetables, salads, dim sum and toasties all firm favourites
I’m lucky to have a job that allows me to meet people from all over the world, and I’m even luckier to be in a country that has great food because of its rich cultural diversity.
Favourite restaurants of UberEats Hong Kong general manager Horace Lam
As a former restaurateur, I love trying out new tastes and flavours, and more often than not I like simple food that reminds me of home.
My go-to places whenever I have family or friends in town is Chom Chom (58 Peel St, SoHo, tel: 2810 0850). I can’t resist the fresh paper rolls. I also can’t resist the Caesar salad and truffle fries from Little Bao (66 Staunton St, SoHo, tel: 2194 0202). Of course, having any of the baos won’t hurt at all – my favourite is the chicken.
A place I like that’s close to my home is Fung Shing Restaurant (1/F-2/F, European Asian Bank Building, 749 Nathan Road, Prince Edward, tel: 2381 5261). [They serve] authentic Hong Kong food – this is one of the reasons why living in this city is great! Try their lunchtime dim sum, but go early to avoid the long queues.
Favourite restaurants of an Azerbaijani in Hong Kong - her ‘food paradise’
When I’m not preparing my meals at home, and I want to eat light or healthy, I go to Tuk Tuk Thai (30 Graham Street, Central, tel: 2542 2760) for the green curry vegetables.
