Fancy a bit of retail therapy this weekend?
Hong Kong brands Bamboa and Kibo are helping people stand out from the crowd with a workshop where guests get to personalise their own pair of Kibo sneakers.
Crocs has teamed up with designer Simone Rocha for a second foam footwear collaboration featuring Rocha’s signature embellishments.
But you will have to be quick – the collection dropped on Friday and is already selling fast.

1. Bamboa x Kibo sneaker workshop
Hong Kong brands Bamboa and Kibo have joined creative forces to host a workshop where people can create a pair of customised sneakers.
Sustainability is key for both. Kibo – which means “hope” in Japanese – is a shoe line that uses recycled leather, canvas and plastics, cork insoles and alternative fabrics such as apple leather. Bamboa is known for its bamboo bedding, towels and tees.
The event takes place from 3pm-6.30pm on October 20 at Bamboa’s outlet in Mid-Levels, on Hong Kong Island.
Paints, tools and help will be provided, along with live music, drinks and canapés. The price (HK$1,520/US$200) includes the sneakers.

2. Skims for men debuts at Lane Crawford
US shapewear and clothing brand Skims, which was co-founded by reality star Kim Kardashian, took the world by storm when it launched in 2019.
This week, the brand’s men’s collection – featuring staples such as briefs, boxers, vests and T-shirts – arrived in Hong Kong at luxury retailer Lane Crawford.
Available at select Lane Crawford stores and online.

3. New Simone Rocha x Crocs collection
Fans of Crocs are in for a treat – the footwear brand has launched its second collaboration with Irish-Hong Kong designer Simone Rocha.
The first collection was a hit with consumers who loved how the designer blended Victorian elegance with contemporary design.
For this second drop, Rocha has three new styles that use custom charms, featuring oversized pearls, edgy spikes, sparkling diamonds and faux fur.

4. GlamFest at the Conrad Hong Kong on October 21
This year, Diwali – the festival of lights that celebrates the start of the Hindu New Year – takes place from October 31-November 1.
To get people in the festive mood, a shopping event will be held on October 21 on the seventh floor of the Conrad Hong Kong hotel in Admiralty from 11am-8pm.
GlamFest includes a curated collection of fashion, accessories, home decor as well as lucky draws and make-up sessions.

5. Éclat d’Arpège So Cute
Lanvin’s Éclat d’Arpège perfume bottle has been given a cheeky new look with a round face, long lashes and a bright pout.
