The Mid-Autumn Festival – celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, when the moon is fullest – is one of the most important events on the Chinese festival calendar. This year, it falls on October 6.

Families unite to enjoy mooncakes and light lanterns, with the city hosting events to help people get into the festive mood.

One of the biggest celebrations is the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance, which will take place on October 5 (7.30pm-10pm ), October 6 (7.30pm-11.30pm ) and October 7 (7.30pm-10pm) on the streets of Tai Hang in Causeway Bay.
