2. Exsicata
Hong Kong’s newest botanical skincare brand, Exsicata, hails all the way from Brazil. Founder Adriane Semmer is a plant biologist who has done extensive research on plant genetics and plant biotechnology. Her high-performance products use natural and organic ingredients from across the South American nation, including Brazilian ginseng, acai extract and Amazonian white clay. Highlights include the Foaming Facial Cleanser, Purifying Facial Mask and Skin Firming Cellulite Reducing Body Cream. Available from Vero Amore (3152 2350)
3. Canvas Perfect White Renew
A bit closer to home, this Australian newcomer harnesses the power of certified organic botanicals and herbal extracts. Besides a full range of skin and body care, Canvas stocks essential oils to treat common skin and health ailments. It latest launch is the Perfect White Renew collection, designed to reverse the signs of sun damage. Products include a cleansing oil (HK$580), clay mask (HK$780), eye treatment (HK$865) and beauty balm (HK$665). 4. Dr Jackson’s Natural Products
