Just in time for the change of seasons, Mandarin Spa has introduced a series of facials with British holistic skincare brand Elemental Herbology. The treatments draw on traditional Chinese medicine and the five elements, with each facial customised to the client’s element (wood, fire, earth, metal or water). Founder Adriane Semmer is a plant biologist who has done extensive research on plant genetics and plant biotechnology. Her high-performance products use natural and organic ingredients from across the South American nation, including Brazilian ginseng, acai extract and Amazonian white clay. Highlights include the Foaming Facial Cleanser, Purifying Facial Mask and Skin Firming Cellulite Reducing Body Cream. Available from Vero Amore (3152 2350)
