Starting September with a bang, the city is serving up everything from major fashion showcases and underground art exhibitions to caviar on gelato.

If runway shows and designer labels are not quite your scene, or dessert is not your thing, there is also a three-day health and wellness festival happening at the same time.

Here are five things to do this weekend.

1. Messina x Nomad Caviar

Ice cream purveyor Messina has teamed up with Hong Kong-based Nomad Caviar for a limited-edition collaboration for the ultimate guilty pleasure for this week only. Each scoop of two custom gelato flavours – a sour cream and roasted potato gelato as well as an olive oil gelato – is crowned with premium Ossetra caviar.

The collaboration runs until Monday, September 7, at Messina in Central, on Hong Kong Island, priced at HK$128 (US$16.30) for a single scoop, HK$143 for a double, and HK$153 for a triple, with additional caviar topping available at HK$50 for 8 grams. Click here for details.

Messina, 37 Pottinger Street, Central

2. The Mihn Machine

The Mihn Machine, from September 4 to 11, brings together more than 100 posters created by Belgrade-based designer Stevie Whisper as art director for Hong Kong’s underground club Mihn.
