The debut of the city’s first major street dance festival leads the charge alongside a soon-to-close museum, a new anime pop-up and empowering run sessions, offering something for every pace and interest.

1. Cupnoodles Museum

The Hong Kong branch of Japan’s Cupnoodles Museum, which opened to considerable fanfare in March 2021, is set to close its doors on January 11.

For nearly five years, the interactive space in Tsim Sha Tsui has offered hands-on workshops, allowing visitors to customise their own instant noodle cups, from the soup base and noodle dough to the packaging.

While the current chapter is closing, its operator, Nissin Foods, has hinted at a potential future revival. A statement on the official website notes that the closure is merely a temporary break before the attraction returns with a new design at a later date.
