5 G-Dragon events in Hong Kong as ‘king of K-pop’ returns, from pop-ups to an exhibition
Whether you were able to score a G-Dragon concert ticket or not, here are five ways you can celebrate the K-pop singer in Hong Kong

G-Dragon, the “king of K-pop”, is bringing his “Ubermensch” world tour to Hong Kong this weekend, with three performances at AsiaWorld-Expo from August 8 to 10.
The tour – his first in eight years – kicked off in South Korea earlier this year and has already made stops in Japan, the Philippines, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia.
The return of G-Dragon, born Kwon Ji-yong, follows the release of his third studio album, Ubermensch, his first musical release since 2017’s Kwon Ji-yong. The album debuted at No 2 on Circle Chart, a Korean ranking platform, selling 440,000 copies in its first week.
The Ubermensch tour marks the singer’s official solo comeback. He has, until now, been focusing on producing music for other artists, working on special collaborations and being an ambassador for brands like Chanel and Gentle Monster.
A performer since he was a young child, G-Dragon is a household name in Korea and has fans that span generations.
