Your Hong Kong weekend food guide for January 10-12
Prep your taste buds for a flavourful 2025 with Friday night pizzas, an exclusive kitchen takeover and harbourside afternoon tea
Forget enjoying a slow start to 2025 – Hong Kong’s bustling dining scene is one that never sleeps, and that’s true even in January. Before the Lunar New Year menus roll out, we’ve picked the top three foodie happenings for this coming weekend to help you round off the first working week of the year.
Friday, January 10
Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) at K11 Art Mall is turning down the lights and turning up the flavour with the launch of its Common Man Night Shift. To wind down from the day – or kick off the night – visit the K11 Art Mall eatery from 5pm for appetising light bites, sourdough pizzas, plentiful sharing plates and pasta.
New to CMCR is a suite of perfectly-fired sourdough pizzas, including an iteration featuring mala-spiced pulled beef with caramelised onions and sharp jalapeños (HK$190), as well as a menu of fresh bites such as Sichuan tuna tataki with a spicy sesame dressing (HK$105).
What’s more, for the month of January, simply order two drinks and the team will send over a classic Margherita pizza with their compliments. No catch, just vibes.
