Do you want to build a spaceship? Or eat your way around Hong Kong? How our readers would spend their last day on earth
We asked our readers how they would spend their last day on earth. Here are some of our favourite answers
Sink or Swim
I would try to swim across Victoria Harbour as it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and it would be the bravest thing I’ve ever done. It isn’t as appealing as going to the beach, but I’d give it a try as seeing as it was my last day on Earth anyway!

I'll face my last day in bed, thanks
I would like to spend the whole day at home, sleeping. Why? Because there’s nothing like the warmth and comfort of sleeping in your own bed.

Is it too late to say sorry?
I would apologise to all the people I have wronged and ask for their forgiveness. I couldn’t let myself leave this world with someone still angry with me. It’s never too late to say “sorry”.

A lovely, full, last day
I would make sure to cram my day with fun activities. In the morning, I’d go to the cinema to see all my favourite films. Then I’d go to the gaming arcade to play all my favourite video games. In the afternoon, I’d explore unknown places with my friends. Finally, in the evening, I would hike to the top of the mountain and look out at the city lights, as I wait quietly for the end of my last day on earth.

Shopping and romance
Firstly, I would go on a huge shopping spree, treating myself to expensive, luxurious goods without having to worry about the astronomical credit card debts. Secondly, I would confess my feelings to the boy I really like. It would all be over the next day, so for once I wouldn’t feel embarrassed.

Bundles of love
There’s nothing I love more than playing with my pet hamsters – they’re just so adorable! So, of course, my hamsters are the ones I’d want to be with during my last moments.

No stopping me now
I am fan of all kinds of sports, so I’d want to try out as many different kinds of extreme sports as possible, such as sky diving , bungee jumping and skiing. That would be a really memorable last day.

I'll be on Mars!
My last day on earth would also be my first day on Mars, so I’m obviously going to spend it finishing off my spaceship.
Abdul Waheed, 16, HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No 3 Secondary School
Eat ALL the food
I’d eat EVERYTHING. I normally try to stay fit and healthy, but on my last day on earth, what would it matter? I’d eat lots of different desserts, and all of my mum’s home-cooked meals.
Rachel Cheung 13, Tak Nga Secondary School
A thankful last day
I would go and find the people who have encouraged, supported and inspired me in life, such as teachers, mentors, friends, to thank them personally. And then I’d spend my last night with my most beloved family.
