Normally, one doesn't associate gorgeous models with household appliances. But that could all change soon.
Socialite Terri Holladay recently became the spokeswoman for Dutch kitchen equipment-maker Princess. And this week, Whirlpool hired leggy supermodels Eunis Chan Ka-yung and Vanessa Yeung Tsang to pitch washing machines in Hollywood - that is, Plaza Hollywood in Diamond Hill.
Wearing mini-skirts, the pair add sex appeal to washers and dryers. The fluff cycle never seemed so appealing.
Chan, who is trying to stretch into acting, told us she actually didn't mind the unique setting. 'I've posed for some furniture before. In fact, I find this kind of show quite interesting,' she said.
Yeung added that she was hoping to explore new opportunities too. Her short-term contract with ATV has ended and she is looking for other media work.
'I am the type of model who wants to cross over to other fields. I want to be a DJ, or maybe host a TV show.' Desperate Housework, anyone?
