Air India investigates passenger who urinated on Japanese man on flight to Bangkok
The carrier has formed an independent committee to review the matter and determine potential disciplinary actions

Air India and officials are investigating a bizarre incident in which a business class passenger reportedly urinated on another traveller.
The case centred on flight AI2336 from New Delhi to Bangkok, despite the cabin’s lavatories being fully functional, local media reported.
Senior cabin crew members responded by providing towels for clean-up and escorting the Japanese passenger to the lavatory to change his clothes. The perpetrator was relocated to another seat.
Crew members offered to help the affected passenger file a formal complaint with Bangkok authorities, but he declined, The Indian Express reported.
Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said authorities would investigate, adding that “if there is any wrongdoing, we will take necessary action”.
