Typhoon Dujuan triggers landslides and floods in Japan, leaving at least 4 dead

Typhoon Dujuan has made landfall in eastern Japan, striking the nation’s Izu Islands and Kanto region with winds measured at up to 144km/h (89mph). Heavy rains triggered deadly landslides near Tokyo, leading to an evacuation advisory affecting more than a million people. Authorities issued highest-level flood and landslide warnings in the affected areas, as the storm disrupted events during Japan’s hosting of the Asian Games.
