Australia’s first mushroom coffin burial shows how funerals can give back to the earth

Australia’s first mushroom coffin burial took place last Friday. Made from mycelium and hemp fibres, the casket breaks down quickly and allows the body of the deceased to give back to the earth by nourishing the soil while decomposing.
