Ukraine’s president urges China action on Russian invasion as permanent UN Security Council member

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on China to use its influence as a permanent member of the UN Security Council to help end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In an interview with the Post, Zelensky said that failure to respond to the Russian invasion means there is no security “not only in Ukraine but in the whole world.” China, he said, must send the message that every country should operate within international laws.
