Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveils plan to build ‘AI supercomputer’ in Taiwan

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has announced plans to expand his company’s office in Taipei to develop an AI “supercomputer”. Huang unveiled the plan during the keynote speech for Taipei’s annual Computex tech hardware show on May 19, 2025. He said the company will partner with a network of Taiwanese tech firms in a new office dubbed “Nvidia Constellation”, to support the project. In the past, Huang has repeatedly stressed the significance of mainland China’s AI market, which made up about 14 per cent of its revenue in the last financial year.
