H2Fly, a Germany-based developer of hydrogen-focused aviation solutions, achieved a milestone on September 7, 2023, by completing the first public flight of an electric aircraft powered by liquid hydrogen. It was a technological breakthrough showing that hydrogen-powered aviation is feasible, said the company’s CEO. It could also pave the way towards emission-free flights.
