Hong Kong's Olympic team added two more medals to its tally at the Paris 2024 Olympics on July 29, 2024. Cheung Ka-long won gold in the men's individual fencing foil event, making him the only Hong Kong athlete to do so in two consecutive Olympics. He's also the first man to successfully defend a Games foil fencing title in 68 years. Meanwhile, swimmer Siobhan Haughey took bronze in the women’s 200m freestyle. Their wins bring Hong Kong's medal count up to three. Fencer Vivian Kong Man-wai won the city its first gold of the 2024 games on July 28.
