Indonesian speed climber Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi starts training at 8am every day in hopes of winning gold for the country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Speed climbing was first included as an Olympic event during the Tokyo Games in 2021 as part of the climbing competition. In Paris, it will be featured as a separate event. Indonesia has only won eight Olympic gold medals, all in badminton.
