94 dead in Hong Kong Tai Po fire as search for survivors continues for third day

The death toll has risen to 94 on the third day of rescue operations in the Hong Kong neighbourhood of Tai Po after raging fires engulfed seven of eight buildings in Wang Fuk Court estate. The authorities said 76 people were injured and scores were still unaccounted for as of the morning of November 28, 2025, when rescue operations entered its third day, with the fires having been largely brought under control.
