Pokémon Go treasure-hunting event held in Taipei

Thousands of trainers have been walking around a park in Taipei to hunt for Pokémon characters, after Taiwan fully reopened to international travellers since lifting Covid-19 restrictions. The three-day Pokémon Go event on October 21-23, 2022, in Taipei was expected to attract up to half a million fans of the animated fighting creatures. Pokémon Go is a smartphone gaming app that allows users to hunt characters through augmented reality.
