Greenfield bookstore has announced it will close when its lease ends. The move comes after a raid on the establishment by Hong Kong’s national security police earlier this month. The 50-year-old independent bookshop in Mong Kok specialised in humanities titles. It was one of two bookshops raided by national security police, who arrested five people on suspicion of acts with seditious intent during the operation. The other store, Have a Nice Stay bookstore in Prince Edward, has said it will also close at the end of next month.
