Lunar New Year parade returns to Hong Kong after a five-year hiatus

Hong Kong kicked off the first day of Lunar New Year with a night parade in Tsim Sha Tsui on Feb 10, 2024. The parade returned after a five-year hiatus. It was last held in 2019 and cancelled in subsequent years because of anti-government protests and the Covid-19 pandemic. Thousands gathered to watch performances and colourful floats welcoming the Year of the Dragon.
