Chinese Premier Li Keqiang says Hong Kong has the country’s full backing for the city’s integration with the motherland. Li made the remarks in his meeting with Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu in Beijing on December 22, 2022. The Hong Kong leader arrived in the capital on December 21 for his maiden annual duty visit, to deliver his six-month work report to central government leaders.
