What kind of secondary school student was new Hong Kong chief executive John Lee?

Former Hong Kong police official and chief secretary John Lee Ka-chiu was officially elected to become the city’s next chief executive on May 8, 2022. As a secondary school student at Wah Yan College (Kowloon) in the 1970s, Hong Kong’s incoming leader was described as a “responsible” and “conscientious” student. In an interview with the Post, former Wah Yan principal Norman So Chung-ping, who taught Lee starting in 1975, credits the school with helping to shape the future chief executive’s decision-making skills.
