Fire at Hong Kong shopping centre traps dozens of people at height of lunch hour

A major fire broke out at the World Trade Centre building in the heart of Hong Kong’s shopping district in Causeway Bay on December 15, 2021. Dozens of people, including shoppers and restaurant-goers, were trapped in the building when the fire broke out at around 12.30pm.
