Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam gives last policy address of current term, ending on emotional note

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor delivered the final policy address of her current term in office on October 6, 2021. The two-hour speech focused on housing and land supply issues, as well as her vision for Hong Kong’s future. At the end of her address she gave an emotional closing remark, thanking her family and the central government for its support.
