Hong Kong bookseller Lam Wing-kee raises US$100,000 for new bookstore in Taiwan

Hong Kong bookseller Lam Wing-kee, who said he was kidnapped by Chinese agents in 2015 for selling banned books across the border, has reportedly crowdfunded more than US$100,000 for his new bookshop in Taiwan.

The 64-year-old left Hong Kong for Taiwan in April after the city proposed a law that would have allowed extradition to mainland China.
