Continued protests against Hong Kong's controversial extradition bill continued into the afternoon on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
Thousands of demonstrators occupied a main road near the legislative complex, defying pleas from authorities to leave the area.
The protest prompted the Legislative Council to delay a scheduled second reading of the bill.
