South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun has denied allegations that he dated Kim Sae-ron when the actress was a minor. Kim Sae-ron committed suicide in February 2024 at the age of 24. Later, a controversy began when her family revealed the pair had a six-year relationship starting when she was in middle school. In a press conference on March 31, 2025, Kim Soo-hyun acknowledged a past relationship with the actress, but said it began five years ago when she was an adult.
